The Rogers Royals rallied from a 22-0 deficit to beat East Ridge, and cruised over Minneapolis Roosevelt 55-6, in a triangular Friday evening at East Ridge in Woodbury.
“It was fun to have a close dual like the one against East Ridge,” said coach Chris Donnay. “We left way too many points out there but our guys picked each other up. Starting out down 22-0 but coming back to win shows a lot of heart out of our guys. (Ryan) Lien got a pin at 195 to seal the deal.
Rogers (8-6) and Blaine will wrestle at STMA on Thursday.
