Basketball: Spectrum girls top Hope Academy, have won 4 straight

The Spectrum Sting reached the .500 mark for the season with a 62-37 win over Hope Academy of Minneapolis at home Monday evening.

Shelby Eden sank six 3-pointers and totaled 22 points. Rachel Stevenson added 10 points, and Noelle Diekman and Becca Schultz had eight apiece.

The Sting made eight 3-pointers (the other two by Stevenson) and 14 of 22 free shots.

The Sting are 7-7 with four straight wins, all at home.

They’ll go back on the road Thursday with a game at St. Croix Prep.
