Authorities find marijuana plants

Kevin Pedlar, 43, has been arrested at his Blue Hill Township residence following the recent execution of a search warrant at his home. 

According to Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott, sheriff’s deputies were at the residence in the 18600 block of 325th Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 3 to arrest Pedlar on outstanding warrants. While in the home, deputies detected the strong odor of marijuana and obtained the search warrant.

An indoor marijuana grow operation was discovered in which 57 plants were allegedly being raised. Pedlar was arrested and held pending his arraignment for the fifth-degree controlled substance violation.
