For the Elk River girls, Champlin Park has always been a tough place to play, but the Elks pulled out a 46-41 win over the Rebels there Tuesday evening.

In coach Reed Caouette’s seven seasons, this was the first time the Elks won on the Rebels’ court.

While the Elks played a solid defensive game, Shelby Gracik tallied 12 points and Abi Scheid ten, with Molli Detloff adding seven off the bench.

The Elks are 5-3 in conference and 9-4 overall with four wins in five games. The Rebels are 3-4 and 7-4.

Elk River will host Maple Grove on Thursday.
