The Rogers Dance Team won the Mississippi 8 high-kick meet Monday evening at Big Lake, with Monticello second, and Big Lake third.

The 23-member Royal line performed an upbeat three-minute, ten-second, fast-paced dance entitled “It’s Burlesque” with over 60 high kicks.

Rogers won the jazz conference meet earlier, and will host the overall kick and jazz combined meet on Jan. 19.

The Royals will dance at Minnetonka on Saturday.
