Basketball: Litchty, Albany light up Thunder 87-66

The Zimmerman Thunder took an 87-66 drubbing from the Albany Huskies at home Friday evening. Scott Litchty poured in 33 points for Albany (1-1 conference, 4-4 overall). The Thunder, last year’s Granite Ridge Conference champion, with one starter back, are 0-2 in conference play and 3-5 overall. The Thunder will host Hermantown on Saturday, 2 p.m.
