Basketball: Thunder girls beat Ogilvie for tourney trophy
The Zimmerman Thunder repeated as champion of the Ogilvie holiday tournament, beating the host team 61-30 on Friday evening.
Melissa Dorn came off the bench to lead the Thunder (5-6) with 14 points. Lexi Funaro scored 12 points and Heather McCormick and Brooke Borchardt 8 each.
The Thunder beat West Lutheran 71-32 in the semifinals Thursday.
Next for the Thunder is a conference game against Foley at home Thursday.
