Swimming: Elks lose to Knights 100-81

The Elk  swimmers lost to St. Michael-Albertville in the Knights pool Thursday evening 100-81. The Knights placed first in all but three events.

Highlight was Aaron Schwab setting two pool  records, winning the 200 freestyle (1:51.74) and backstroke (55.41). Andrew Bronshteyn in diving had the other Elk win.

Coach Denise Eidem noted that the Elks have many friends on the STMA team as they swim club together (Sea Devils, based at STMA) and this is always “great, friendly competition.”
