ERMU announces holiday lighting winners

Winners have been announced in Elk River Municipal Utilities’ first holiday lighting contest.

•First place: Pat Martie, 21114 Highway 169, Elk River

•Runner-up: Jesse and Crystal Johnson, 19465 Albany Court N.W., Elk River

•Second runner-up: Ernie and Mary Hoffman, 15726 96th Circle, Otsego

•Most creative: Becky Butler and Josh Larson, 1414 Fifth St. N.W., Elk River

•Best use of LED: John and Janna Houlton, 1185 Main St., Elk River

ERMU will be doing the program again next year with a focus on energy-efficient LED lighting.
