Basketball: Royal girls beat Bemidji 66-31

The Rogers Royals cruised 66-31 over Bemidji at home on Friday evening,  leading 40-6 at the half.

Lindsey Dorr with 12 points, Kelsey Frain with 10, and Megan Dobberstein and Courtney McClay with 8 each,  led the Royals (4-2), who had 11 players score.

“The girls came out on fire, and never let up,” said coach Karlee Anderson. “We have Moorhead tomorrow, and we will do the same things, pressure the ball and get up and down the court.”

The Royals will host Moorhead on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Bemidji and Moorhead are both in the same section as Rogers.
