Hockey: NWC clips Rogers girls 5-2

The Rogers Royals scored the first two goals but North Wright County dominated after that and beat them 5-2 on Tuesday evening.

Emily Antony scored at 6:22 and Jenna Nelson at 10:38 for the Royals (1-7-1).

The lead would be short-lived as Rachel King, Marina Chapman, Rachel Heiber, Maddi Sjelin and Heiber again scored for NWC (8-2) as they outshot the Royals 43-12.

Michelle Klimstra made 38 saves for Rogers.

The Royals will  host Mound-Westonka on Thursday.
