Berglund hired as community service officer

Amy Berglund has been hired as a part-time Community Service Officer I with the Elk River Police Department. She currently is a police reserve officer.

Her hiring as a CSO was approved Dec. 10 by the Elk River City Council.

The police department is hiring two part-time CSOs to replace one full-time CSO position that opened up in June when Rebecca Thomas resigned to become a police officer at another agency.
