Inattentive driving cause of Elk River crash
A 35-year-old Washington, D.C., man was cited for inattentive driving after a two-vehicle crash at about 3:05 p.m. Nov. 16 in the area of Highway 169 and School Street.
The Minnesota State Highway Patrol discovered that a passenger car driven by Brian Scott Zekus rear ended a pickup being driven by Mark William Solintzky, a 59-year-old man from Vadnais Heights.
Zekus received non-life threatening injuries and was cited for inattentive driving.
Elk River Police assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
