Glen Hardin has been promoted to director of commercial lending at The Bank of Elk River. Hardin has been in the banking industry for more than 36 years, spending the last 32 years assisting local businesses with their borrowing needs.
“Glen has the expertise and leadership skills to continue the bank’s efforts to be the economic engine within the communities we serve,” said John Babcock, president and chairman of the board of The Bank of Elk River.
The Bank of Elk River is family owned and has operated in the area since 1885. The state chartered bank has its main office located on Main Street in Elk River. Other locations include School Street in Elk River, 88th Street in Otsego, Highway 169 in Zimmerman and inside the Elk River Walmart. The bank currently employs 100 and has assets of $365 million.
