Halloween, veterans concerts coming up at ERHS

Halloween and Veterans Day, two of the Elk River High School band’s favorite holidays, are coming up.

The annual Halloween event, dubbed “One Wicked Halloween Concert” this year, will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m., at Zabee Theatre.

Like last year, the concert will feature the ERHS Wind Symphony, costume contests for the audience, and a guest appearance by the North Suburban Concert Band.

The annual Veterans Day Concert will be presented Friday, Nov. 9, at Zabee Theatre. The public, and especially veterans and current military, are invited.

Along with the bands, the event will  feature the North Suburban Chorale along with a drum and fife corps, cannons and bagpipes.

•Rogers High School choir concert Monday, Nov. 5, and band concert Monday, Nov. 19, each starting 7 p.m.
•Zimmerman High School choir concert Monday, Nov. 5, and band concert Monday, Nov 19, each at 7 p.m.

•”Anne Frank and Me” at Elk River High School, Nov. 1, 2, 3,8 and 10 at the Little Theatre.
•”You Can’t Take it With You” at Spectrum, Nov. 6, 9, 10,  11
•”The Little Mermaid,”  by Youth Theatre Workshop, at ERHS’s Little Theatre, Nov. 15-18 and Nov. 23-25.
•”Hello, Dolly!” at Zimmerman High School, Nov. 16, 17, and 18.
