ArtCrawl once again showcases artists at downtown businesses

The third annual Rivers Edge ArtCrawl was held Thursday in downtown Elk River with 11 participating businesses hosting one or more Elk River Area Arts Alliance members showing their works. It’s an opportunity for customers to enjoy the creativity of area artists while going about their regular shopping.

Mixed media artist Chris Wilson showed her works including this kitty at Pompeii Pizza.

Participants were Patti Sandusky (jewelry) at Avalon Salon; John Maciejny (photography) at Daddy’O’s; Linda Croteau (oil  painting) at Diamond City Bread Co.; Jean Orr (oil painting) and Marilyn Schroeder (oil painting) at Elk River Arts Alliance; Judy Syring (photography) and Sylvia Dudycha (fiber art) at Elk River Travel; Shanti Goth (watercolor) at Kemper Drug; Sara Hartman (oil painting) and Joan Ruprecht (oil painting) at McCoy’s Pub; Lisa Tetzlaff (photography),  Chris Wilson (mixed media) and Ben Svardahl (accoustic guitar) at Pompeii Pizza; Clauda Forsberg (clay) at Sunshine Depot; Jay Grammond (photography) at Oakwood Insurance Agency; and Mark Haglund (oil painting) and Sue Ballweber (oil painting) at Granite Shores.
