Soccer: Thunder girls lose to Flyers 4-1

The Little Falls Flyers earned a payback win over the Zimmerman Thunder 4-1 on Tuesday in Little Falls.

Rachelle Leblanc notched two goals, and Katie York and Chelsea Moran, for the Flyers (2-8 conference, 3-9-1 overall).

Zimmerman (2-7 conference, 3-9-1 overall) had beaten Little Falls 3-2 earlier. The Thunder were missing scoring leader Brooke Salo (11 goals) due to a red card in the previous game.

Amanda Sahr scored unassisted in the 76th minute for the Thunder.

Zimmerman will close the regular season hosting Princeton on Thursday.
