Soccer: Royal boys lose to Bluejackets 4-1
The Rogers Royals lost to Cambridge-Isanti 4-1 on Tuesday, falling to 2-4-1 in conference and 3-8-1 overall.
“When you play as flat as we did, you don’t win,” commented coach Chris Miller, whose team beat the Bluejackets 2-1 earlier.
Nahome Biniam scored the Royals goal on a penalty kick.
Cambridge-Isanti is 3-4 in conference, 4-8 overall.
Rogers’ scheduled game at St. Francis on Thursday was cancelled by St. Francis.
Next for the Royals will be a home game against Elk River on Saturday, 11 a.m.
