The Spectrum Sting won their second straight game, 16-6 over Minneapolis North, on Saturday in Minneapolis.
Jordy Ildvad broke away for a 63-yard touchdown on the first offensive play. Ildvad was stopped on the conversion run. North tied it up on a pass play in the second quarter. The Sting foiled a conversion run leaving the score 6-6.
The Sting pulled ahead in the fourth quarter when a trick play worked for a touchdown as wide receiver Andy Fellner passed to Ben Maki from 22 yards out. Tristen Rosby passed to Austin Kurilla for two more points.
The clincher came when Nash Gleaon blocked a punt and the ball rolled through the end zone for a safety.
The Sting (2-2) will play at Lester Prairie on Friday.
