Soccer: Sting boys win 4-1 at Mayer Lutheran

The Spectrum-Big Lake boys picked up their third win of the year, 4-1 over Mayer Lutheran, on Thursday evening in Mayer.

Hugo Cantoran, Eric Ortego, Pablo Murilla and Vincent Cisneros scored for the Sting (3-7). Spencer Maas was in goal.

Mayer Lutheran (0-7-1) scored on a penalty kick in the 77th minute.

“It was a nice team effort. They are coming together,” said coach Mat Harrison.

The Sting will duel St. Agnes on Saturday, 11 a.m., in St. Paul.
