Homage paid to 9-11 tragedy at ERHS

Dozens of students with trucks and at least one student with a car adorned their vehicles with United States flags on the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States. This has become a tradition at Elk River High School ever since the first anniversary of 9-11. Elk River High School senior Tanner Poplin said students organize the endeavor primarily through Facebook. He took part last year, but with a different truck.
