She grew up in Victoria, MN and graduated from Guardian Angels High School in Chaska. She went on to earn a music degree at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN in 1947.
Music was her passion. She was the organist at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Elk River for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed golf and bowling but most of all she was devoted to God and her family. She was the glue that held her family together, a very humble lady that put others needs ahead of her own. She appreciated the small things in life like birds and flowers.
