She defeated him by a vote of 1,620 to 586 in Tuesday’s primary.
“Thank you to the voters of Senate District 30 for the honor of your support and confidence,” Kiffmeyer said after winning. “I am humbly grateful for the victory and look forward to working hard to earn your support in the general election, Tuesday, November 6.
The Republican lawmaker now faces DFLer Paul Pervovich of Big Lake Township. He did not have a primary challenge.
