Allied Blacktop awarded bid for Elk River’s sealcoat work

Allied Blacktop Co., Maple Grove, has been awarded a bid for sealcoating streets and trails in the city of Elk River this year.

The $333,745 bid was the lowest of two, with the high bid coming in at $340,747.

The Elk River City Council awarded the bid July 16.

The bid includes $16,632 to fog seal trails and $317,113 to sealcoat streets. Both are less than the budgeted amounts.
