Work will begin Monday, July 9, on Highway 169 between Highway 10 in Elk River and County Road 4 in Zimmerman.
The work will include resurfacing, drainage improvements and other upgrades, according to Minnesota Department of Transportation spokesperson J.P. Gillach.
Initially, sections of northbound Highway 169 between Highway 10 and County Road 33 will be reduced to a single lane during non-rush hours for about three weeks. Once that part is done, work will begin on the southbound lanes on that same section of Highway 169. After that, the contractor will begin work on Highway 169 between County Road 33 in Elk River and Zimmerman, Gillach said.
