I have talked to a number of people this past week in our community and in other communities and I am here to tell you that we have a real need! We need to take on responsibility for our actions. We must be better listeners. We must be certain that we know what the other person is saying!
Too often we are so wrapped up in our own thoughts that we aren’t listening what is being said. The result? Things are not getting done. We need rules to abide by so each person knows exactly what his job is. You alone are responsible for your job. Take on the responsibility and do your best. Less than the best is unacceptable. Without rules there is utter chaos and that is exactly what our enemies want. We are slowly losing our freedom. I don’t know about you folks, but for me it is really scary.
“When there is order in the national, there will be peace in the world.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 This was written many years ago and it makes sense to me. What do you folks think? Do you think we should just keep on the path we are going or attempt to work together? —Lola Driessen, Elk River
