Nelson inducted into national Hall of Fame
Amy Nelson has been chosen by the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities as the recipient of the 2012 Hall of Fame award.
At the age of 18, after working two years in the homecare industry, Nelson started her own home care company, Accurate Home Care.
She also took courses in nursing, but then decided to focus on the business side of home care. She attended Minnesota School of Business, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in health care management and an MBA.
Today, Nelson is the CEO of Accurate Home Care in Elk River, which has grown as Minnesota’s largest home care provider.
