Updated: Six people have filed for School Board

Incumbent Holly Thompson, Jane Frazier and Dan Hunt joined the race for Elk River Area School Board on June 5, bringing the total number of candidates seeking one of three seats to six.

Incumbernt Sue Farber joined the race for the Elk River Area School Board. She filed Monday night, June 4.

Three candidates have filed so far for the Elk River Area School Board.

Incumbent Janelle Henry and Tom McAuley had earlier filed for school board.

The period for filing affidavits for the four-year terms closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 5.  The election is scheduled for Nov. 6.
