Audience will love ‘Noises Off’ show

In response to the article entitled, “Theater group likened to sinking ship called Titanic,” I highly disagree. I have never seen any Elk River Community Theatre’s productions as “poor judgment.” I have participated in many productions by a similar group, Youth Theatre Workshop, which has a lot of the same volunteers and directors. Youth Theatre Workshop as well as Elk River Community Theatre give many children as well as adults a sense of purpose.

Seeing how Elk River Community Theatre is a nonprofit organization, I believe it was very childish and wrong to have published such an article. The volunteers and directors involved in this organization have worked very hard and I am sure they have their reasons for switching this summer’s production.

It needs to be understood that not everybody can be pleased. I do urge everybody to audition for Elk River Community Theatre’s summer production of “Noises Off.” For it will be an experience you will love. — Alexis Christensen, Elk River
