Baseball: Rogers bows out with 3-0 loss to Champlin Park

The Rogers Royals season ended with a 3-0 loss to Spenser Daniel and the Champlin Park Rebels on Friday.

Daniel fired a six-hitter with one walk and eight strikeouts as the Rebels (11-10) won the single-elim game at Coon Rapids.

Rogers senior Dillon Morris pitched well in  defeat, giving up three runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks. He struck out two and hit one. Luke Selken relieved in the sixth and got the final out.

Ryan Gelle was 2-for-3 while Will Terres, Andrew Smith and Mitch O’Neill had the other hits.

Rogers finished 7-13.
