Jayme Langebehn homered for the second straight day as Elk River enjoyed its second straight game of solid hitting in an 11-3 win over Armstrong on Tuesday in Robbinsale.
Langebehn, am eighth-grade outfielder, socked a three-run homer and finished 2-for-5 with two runs. She had a solo on Monday in a 9-3 win over Centennial at home.
Also punching two hits were Jessica Neuman (two runs), Michaela Bruns (double, two runs), Austyn Beese (double, RBI, two run), Dani Edwards (two RBI), Kathi Opsdahl (RBI) and Ali Krohn. Bethani Athey was 1-for-3 and was hit-by-pitch twice, and scored three runs.
Anna Pipenhagen pitched, allowing two hits by Armstrong (2-15) and striking out six.
The Elks, 5-7 in the NWSC and 7-10 overall, will close the regular season with games at Blaine on Wednesday and Andover on Thursday.
