Peter Frampton and Ronnie Dunn will be the headliners for the 2012 Otsego Jam Fest on Aug. 3-4.
Frampton, the 1970’s rock idol whose “Frampton Comes Alive!” album included hit singles “Baby, I Love Your Way,” “Show Me the Way,” and “Do You Feel Like We Do,” remains a popular act in his fifth decade as a performer.
The Frampton Comes Alive 35th Anniversary Tour last year showcased songs on the play list for the original tour from 1976. He appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2010 as one of her favorite musicians.
Dunn and his former partner Kix Brooks, as Brooks & Dunn, were a major force in country music for two decades, selling over 30 million records including 20 number one singles on Billboard.
Dunn, who started a solo career in 2010, received Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) country songwriter of the year awards in 1996 and 2001. Last year, his single “Bleed Red” reached No. 10 in the U.S. and another, “Cost of Livin,” reached No. 19.
Frampton will perform 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4. Preceding him on the card will be Bad Animals (a Heart tribute), Foghat, and Eddie Money.
Dunn will perform 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4. Preceding him will be Elk River’s country rocker Shane Martin, David Nail, and Jerrod Niemann.
