Family Fun Night a success
District 728 Community Education’s annual Family Fun Night, which attracted 600 people last year, attracted even more this year. Event organizers are estimating more than 800 turned out for the May 4 event at the Handke Family Center. Those who came helped celebrate children’s mental health and wellness.
The event is sponsored by BRIDGES (Bringing Resources, Information, Direction and Guidance to Everyone in Sherburne County), Early Childhood Family Education, The Creative Therapy Center, SHIP (Statewide Health Improvement Program), the Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative and the Elk River Area Early Childhood Coalition.
