Golf: Elk boys tie for 3rd in NWSC meet

The Elk River golfers tied for third place in a NWSC meet Wednesday in Stillwater and remained in third place after four conference meets.

Andover and Osseo tied for first with 307, followed closely by the Elks and Centennial with 309, in the 10-team meet at Loggers Trail.

Alex Kline shot 68 for Elk River and had to settle for second as Osseo’s Dalton Charboneau was on fire with 65. A.J. Oster of Andover was right behind with 69.

Next for the Elks was Jordan Peterson with 79, followed by Cooper Bleyhl and Garrettt Turnacliff with 81′s.

Next for the Elks is the Mankato East Invitational at LeSueuer on Friday and Saturday.
