Elk River still has small-town feel

This past week I was reminded how great it is that Elk River still has the feel of a small town where you can shop at a downtown business that is customer friendly.

I would like to thank Kemper Drug and their customers for giving support to the American Diabetes Association. Because my son has Type 1 diabetes, our family will be bike riding in the ADA Tour de Cure on June 2 starting at Minnehaha Falls. Kemper Drug willingly agreed to ask their customers to donate $1 toward the Tour de Cure.

During the ride we recognize all those with diabetes and their effort to live a healthy lifestyle even with this disease. Thanks again to Kemper Drug and their customers for helping to stop diabetes.
