Baseball: Mora clips Thunder 6-1

Jake Lindberg and the Mora Mustangs  beat the Zimmerman Thunder for the second time this year, 6-1, in Zimmerman on Thursday.

Takuma Padilla homered in the fourth inning for the lone Thunder run. Taking the loss was Brandon Sevre.

Lindberg, a senior, pitched the distance. He also beat the Thunder 3-1 in the season opener.

Mora is 7-4, and the Thunder dropped to 3-7.
Zimmerman will host Becker on Friday, 5 p.m.
