Softball: Royals trip Magic 4-1, steal 5 bases

The Rogers Royals posted a 4-1 win over Cambridge-Isanti there Thursday as Christina Hajdere pitched a three-hitter and had a double and two RBI.

Kate Kemmetmuelller was 2-for-3 and Jo Baker 1-for-2 (double), each knocking home a run.

“One of our more complete games,” said coach Dan Olmgren, “with timely hitting, good defense, and stealing five bases with just good, hard-nosed base-running.”

Rogers is 2-3 in the Mississippi 8 and 4-6 overall. The Royals will play at Monticello on Tuesday.
