The Elk River Golf Club elected four board members and discussed raising revenue at its April 21 annual shareholders meeting at the club.
The new board members are Lynne Tormoen, Steve Smith, Brian Lord and Roger Lamp.
President John Lindeen urged shareholders and members to get local people to play golf and use the restaurant. He also stated that the club got off to a good start for 2012 with a mid-March opening.
Corporate treasurer Mark Conrath’s financial report showed that the corporation was in the red for 2011 but did better than 2010.
Chris Singer, club pro and general manager, wanted to make sure the public knows that the course and the CaddyShack Bar and Grille are both open to the public, adding that people frequently call to ask about that.
