District 728 Community Education’s annual Family Fun Night, which attracted 600 people last year, is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4 at the Handke Family Center, 1170 Main St., Elk River.
The public is invited to join in to celebrate children’s mental health and wellness. The event is free and open to anyone in the community who wants to learn more, have fun and show support for children’s mental health.
There will be bounce houses, carnival games, an obstacle course, face painting and tattoos, coloring and crafts and many prizes.
There will also be community resource booths with information on area resources, services and supports.
Special attractions will include the nature playground, family cooking tour, Elk River ECFE art room and a play therapy room.
There will be free food and healthy snacks.
