ERHS musicians capture several honors

Elk River High School bands, under the direction of John Rosner, have earned honors in several competitions the last two months.

The ERHS Wind Symphony received a superior rating at the Minnesota State High School League Band Contest at Cambridge-Isanti on Tuesday.

The ERHS Black Elk Jazz Band got a superior rating in a state contest at ERHS Feb. 23.

At Solo and Ensemble contests March 29 at Andover, Jayde Krauth (trumpet) and the Sax Quartet got top honors, Best in Site, and the following students got superior ratings:
