Softball: Braatz, Buffalo stymie Rogers 4-0
Bailey Braatz fired a five-hit shutout as the Buffalo Bison handed the Rogers Royals a 4-0 setback on Tuesday.
Christina Hajder took the loss, giving up nine hits and four runs (two earned), striking out two. She was 2-for-3 at the plate.
Cassie Kunkel was 3-for-4 and Emily Varner 2-for-4 for the Bison (3-0).
“We played a solid game defensively but just didn’t string our hits together,” noted Rogers coach Dan Ohlgren. “Everything is coming together nicely and hopefully we keep plugging away and good things will happen.”
Rogers (2-3) will host Big Lake on Thursday.
