Maddie Hol tied for third place with 43 as the Rogers girl golfers placed fifth in a Mississippi 8 meet on Wednesday at Monticello Country Club.
Hol led Rogers to a 195 score with Haley Jung and Rachel Dodd each shooting 48 and Kayleen Miller 56.
“I am very proud of the girls and the team effort from JV to Varsity this year,” said coach Durand Onell. “Our goal for each nine-hole round is to break 200 as a team and we have done that twice. Senior captain Haley Jung has been solid for usand posted yet another score in the 40′s. Sophomore Maddie Hol had her best individual finish ever.”
Cambridge-Isanti placed first with 171, while Buffalo’ Lexi Bollant was medalist with 38.
Next for Rogers is the Elk River Invitational on Tuesday.
