Baseball: Duzbay, Knights stymie Royals 5-2

Jacob Dzubay tossed a four-hitter for St. Michael-Albertville as the Knights subdued the Rogers Royals 5-2 on Thursday at home. He limited Rogers to three singles and a double while striking out four.

Rogers starter Blake Shermer took the loss, giving up three runs (two earned) in 5 1/3 innings.   Michael Terres had a scoreless inning, and the Knights got two runs off Erik Bremer in 1/3 inning.

Garrett Watters and Steven Kiesner each had two hits and two runs for the Knights and Dzubay was 2-for-3.
