A Spring Celebration of Birds, Plants and Nature will be held from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge near Zimmerman.
•Bird Tour, 8–11 a.m. Meet at refuge headquarters.
•Birds of the Wetlands and Oak Savanna, 9–11 a.m. Meet at refuge headquarters.
•Family Nature Walk, 10–10:30 a.m. Meet at the Oak Savanna Trail, located at the beginning of the Prairie’s Edge Wildlife Drive.
•Friends of Sherburne Plant Sale, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at the refuge headquarters.
•Friends of Sherburne Kids’ Craft Project, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Decorate a pot and plant a flower for mom.
•Minnesota Tree Care Advisors Booth, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
•The Friends of Sherburne Gift Shop will be open at the refuge headquarters from 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
