Golf: Elks 2nd in 7-team opener; Kline’s 75 is low for meet

Alex Kline had low score for the meet with 75 in leading Elk River to second place in a seven-team meet at Bunker Hills to open the season Tuesday.

Andover edged the Elks 323 to 325, led by Davis Toulette, whose 77 was second behind Kline.

In a cold, windy afternoon, the Elks’ other counting scores were Cooper Blehyl’s 81, Garrett Turnacliff’s 83, and Jason Peterson’s 86.

The Elks will play in the TPC at Blaine on Monday.
