Elmer, Richard C. “Dick” Elmer, 76, of Elk River, died peacefully at his home Monday, April 2, 2012.
He was the owner of Dick Elmer Cement Works of Elk River.  He took great pride in his family, cement work, woodworking, gardening and his yard. He especially enjoyed watching pro wrestling, playing cribbage and fishing.
The funeral service was Friday, April 6 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elk River. Interment was at Otsego Cemetery. Dare’s Funeral Home served the family.
Memorials are preferred.
Mr. Elmer is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Wayne) Bobendrier; grandchildren, Mindy (Mark) Weber, Dan (Jessica) Elmer, Jake (Sarah) Burley, Sadie (Jason) Fussy, Mattie (Bryon) Winger and Dustin Bobendrier; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah; son, Daniel; and six nephews.
