Robert P. Pampusch
April 17th 1945 – March 20th 2012
On Tuesday, March 20, on the beach in Costa Rica, a beloved man, Robert Peter Pampusch, passed from this world at the age of 66 into the welcoming arms of his loving Savior. As the gates of heaven opened, he was received by his loving parents, Robert W. and Lucille E. Pampusch, and infant sister Kathleen. It seems of no coincidence that his passing occurred on the first day of spring as he is born anew into eternity in glorious paradise in heaven above.
Although Bob’s life was cut short, it was rich and full. He was known as an adoring husband to his wife, Marilyn, of 41 years. He was a loving and devoted father and father-in-law to his children Erin, Ben and Rob, and their spouses. To his 6 grandchildren, he was known as the most caring “Papa” for which a child could ask. He was known to some as a golf enthusiast, while others knew him to be a cigar aficionado, or an admirer of fine scotch. To all, he was known for his kindness, integrity, honesty and quiet yet playful spirit that filled a room when he entered.
As the Pampusch family mourns the loss of Bob, they would like to convey their utmost gratitude for the overwhelming love and support they have received during this difficult time. And now, as the flowers of spring blossom each year, we will know that through the pain and the grief there is beauty waiting to break through in the form of the flowering memories of him that we treasure. We will remember the man, Robert Peter Pampusch, who has left a lasting imprint on each of hearts.
