Henderson will be keynote speaker at Garden Expo
The Eighth Annual Garden Expo presented by the Sherburne County Master Gardeners will be held from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at Big Lake High School.
Keynote speaker will be Carrol Henderson, who will talk about landscaping for wildlife.
Henderson is the long-time supervisor of the Nongame Wildlife Program at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Other presentations include Restore Your Shore, Drying Food, Container Water Gardens, Discovering Your Roots, Garden Art, Clematis, Corrective Pruning of Trees and Shrubs, Kitchen Garden Nightmares and Entryway Gardens.
Cost is $25 per person including lunch if registered by April 2. Registrations after April 2 and walk-ins the day of the event will be $30.
