Community Ed offers health, fitness classes

District 728 Community Education in Elk River is offering a number of health and fitness classes this spring.

Here is a sample:

•American Heart Association CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillators): 6-10 p.m. Monday, April 23, at the Handke Center. Fee: $65.

•American Red Cross Standard First Aid: 6-10 p.m. Monday, April 30, at the Handke Center. Fee: $55.

•Ballroom Basics: Six sessions from 8:20-9:20 p.m. beginning Tuesday, April 17 at the Handke Center. Fee: $49/individual or $90/pair.

•Beginner Golf Lessons: Three sessions on either Wednesdays or Thursdays beginning May 2 or 3 from 6-7:15 p.m. at the Elk River Golf Club. Fee: $35/individual or $65/pair.
