Rick Kupchella will read from his book at Business Expo

Rick Kupchella, founding partner and president of Bring Me the News and former KARE 11 news anchor, will attend the Zimmerman Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo to read from his book, “Girls Can!” on St. Patrick’s Day.
The Zimmerman Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo will be hosted by Freshwaters United Methodist Church March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year’s expo has a St. Patrick’s Day theme that promises to entertain. Businesses represented at the expo are encouraged to break out in green and brush up on their Irish accents. Attendees will vote on the best-dressed business booths and the winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m.
Prizes, contests, family fun, and business giveaways are sure to warm up the event and attendees will have a chance to win $200 and $300 cash.
At 10 a.m., the doors will open with a color guard followed by Nelson Nursery’s fairy garden demo from 10:30 to 11 a.m. The Royal Performance Company of Zimmerman will have a dance presentation at 11 a.m. with Rick Kupchella reading his children’s book, “Girls Can!” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The dog training and day-care company Paws Up 4 You will show off canine talents with their Good Dog Demo from 12:30 to 1 p.m. followed by local musician Ted H.’s guitar performance of family music. At 1:30, the kickball logo winner will be announced while the Young Writer’s Contest winners read their entries.
